new-lifeIf you feel like the Lord is calling you to do something new in 2013, don’t hold back.  Move forward in faith and optimism, know that your powerful God reigns and will guard your life and will watch over you.  Be ready!! Ask Him to give you His vision and hope for the New Year.

God is so good and He is with you in every change that comes in your life.  You may be disheartened and hopeless; today we are encouraging you to live in hope!! God is alive and His power is living within you.  Remember that nothing is impossible with Him.  Keep walking through your storm. Your help is closer than you think.  Be grateful for God’s mercy and love.  Get to know God and allow Him to help you whenever you face difficulty.  Indeed, His heart brakes when He sees you hurting!!!

Perhaps you can’t see the refuge before you, but believe and continue to hope.  Life situations require a measure of hope.  Reasoning with a rebellious teenager; finding a job in a tight economy.  Trust in God and know that He has given you promises that you can rely on when you are in need of comfort and assurance. You will be uplifted and encouraged by them. When God makes a promise to you, consider it done.  He is committed to serve you.  Never stop believing.  In fact, grow stronger in faith and praise God. Trust in the Lord and in His promises.

It’s true that in the time of suffering we come to place a great value on the promises of God.  We claim them in our darkest hours and deepest struggles.  Walk with Him and understand that His promises are not just words but a reality in our life. For the New Year, let us nurture a relationship with Jesus. Make the relationship a priority each and every day. He will provide protection and comfort. It’s comforting to know we don’t walk alone.

Are you ready to go where God wants you to go? You no longer need to be chained to the past.  Instead, allow yourself to be renewed and refreshed.  Have hope in this New Year to believe God and become everything He’s called you to be. God won’t let you down. So look forward to seeing His promises fulfilled in the days ahead.

God loves you!

I Am Reminded!

natural_red_beautiesWe are faced daily with trials, challenges, and many life predicaments.  When catastrophe knocks on our door, we have the tendency to cave in and go astray.  We immediately question God and His love for us.  Friends, God allows the pain and the struggle in our lives so that we can get closer to him in prayer.  He wants to develop a relationship with us; He wants us to trust and believe in Him.  He wants us to remember His promise “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  Wow…what an amazing God!!!

Every morning that I wake up, I am reminded of God’s love, and mercy.  I am reminded that He is with me and in me, and no matter what is going to happen on that day, God already took care of it.  I am reminded that at the end of the day God will bring me to victory.  I know that He loves me and He cares about me.  He paid full price for my sins!! I am special in His eyes.  It’s wonderful to know that God has my back and fights all battles.  Because of such I am able to keep moving and to deal with my problems. Yes, I face my situation daily with the knowledge that God will provide for my needs.  My love and faith in God is victory all the time!!!

No matter how beaten down you may feel at the moment, God’s promise is the truth and cannot lie. I made a decision to stop worrying about what if and what will happen. I made a decision to put all my trust in God! God is a God of huge plans!!! He is able and willing! We were raised by a strong Godly Lady (my mother). She is the person that I admired and looked up to.  I love her and miss her so much! I pray daily so that I too can be like my mother (a Godly woman).  Whatever comes my way in life, I will face it – triumph is mine!! It’s my inheritance.

I’ve encountered trials and hardships in life, but I never stop believing.  And with God, I go through them and on into victory because of His great favor.  I win!!!  I start each day looking at myself, my family, the published of my new book “Get Closer to God” and all the blessings that God bestows on my life and say to myself, “I have favor today, I’ve been crowned with glory and honor.” I am reminded that I am blessed and highly favored! My Lord loves me!!!

May God bless you and keep you always in His sheltering arms.  God is aware of your struggle.

Praying for our children

Just because we are hard on our kids doesn’t mean we don’t love them. We are hard on them because we see the potential in them. The fact is they don’t see the potential themselves. Do not postpone your children. Keep encouraging them and teach them to pray. Pray … pray with them every day. We need to pray for our children’s health and safety. We need to pray so that our children learn to know God and will have a deep desire to do God’s will. Remember that children learn by watching their parents. It is important that we pray in front of them as well as with them. Children who see a mother or a father pass through the trials of life in prayer will remember what he or she saw. When trials come, they will turn to God in prayer.

Being a parent is the most important job in the world. It’s a gift and a blessing from God. God our Father has lovingly placed our children in our care. We can’t raise them alone, we need His guidance. I think the first and surely the most important thing to remember in raising children is to pass our faith on to them. We need to share our faith with them. We need to teach our children of God’s love and promises so that they can be saved, when the Lord’s timing is right. The love of God will equip them to a future of love and peace. It will also make our children strong in faith!

As a parent, I am constantly on guard as to what I say and how I act. I pray daily so that I do not fall! I am constantly searching for God’s love and guidance to help me be a role model for my family to emulate. I love being a mom! It has its challenges, but it is a great joy and a blessing. Being a mom is the proudest thing I have done — raising another human being to make a difference in this world.

Thank you God for such a gift!!!

Prayer Changes Things

Prayers are a wonderful resource to help us to grow in love with God.  It can do wonders for your soul. The more we pray the more we can grow in God’s grace. Grace is a gift of God’s love working within us.  It strengthens us to forgive and put others’ needs before our own.  Grace helps us to manage difficulties in our lives better. We can show God’s love for others in how we treat them and in how we pray for them.  The grace of God is absolutely free! We do not have to earn it.

God’s everlasting love is the proof that He is in us. When we realize that God lives in us, we will begin to see life from a different perspective.  Remember that God is never “too busy” to hear from you. Don’t be “too busy” for him! Prayer takes only minutes to say, yet their benefits can last a lifetime! God gives us joy and strength though prayer. You can get a great sense of peace in good times and consolation in bad from them. Our Lord wants to give us the good things we ask for in accordance with His will.

Still, God hasn’t promised any of us a “Rose Garden” in this life. For those people in your life who continually rub you the wrong way, prayer can give you the grace to deal with them better.  “Pray for those who persecute and slander you” (Matthew 5:44). God wants us to pray for others, regardless how we may feel about them or even if we don’t personally know them. Such prayers remind us that one way or another, we are all in this journey of life together. Your prayers can do a world of good for others, just as their prayers can help you! There are times you might feel you just can’t concentrate, that there are too many distractions. Or perhaps you feel God’s not there. Pray anyway!! God allows us to experience these hard times for us to grow spiritually.

Does life give you more stress than you can handle?  We want to remind you that God is always there and ready to help.  He’ll help you find the grace you need to deal with the pressures and problems of daily life and to grow in His love.

Prayer changes things! Prayer is talking with God; it is the most powerful weapon against troubles. Prayer calms the spirit and feed the soul. Prayer is the key that opens your day to every blessing and it can be even more powerful when we do it together.  Say a little prayer for someone right now.

God bless you!

This Too Shall Pass

To all those who have been affected by hurricane Sandy, our thoughts and prayers are with you! You’re going through a rough spot in your life.  Stay safe and know that this too shall pass.  You are tossing and turning.  You are wondering “What is going on? Where are you, God?”  Maybe you are faced with damages from hurricane Sandy.  You did nothing to deserve this!  Now and then, we will all encounter struggles. But do not give away to discouragement and anxiety. The path is never easy.  Trust and believe that God is near and He will take care of you.

Our journey through life is always filled with unexpected challenges. Do not allow unforeseen circumstances that are out of your control determine your joy and faith.  Remember, with God, all things are possible even during this moment in time when your hopes seem distant. Your present condition is not permanent. It is temporary! Stand back – this too shall pass.  Keep your trust in God; your problems will be resolved successfully.  You will get through these times; new blessings are approaching. Believe that God’s merciful hand will work your situation out, even better than you can ever imagine.

No matter how heavy your heart is, or how dark the moment may be, remain calm and quiet.  Hurricane Sandy will slowly turn away.  God loves you!! Do not doubt Him; trust and believe that He has great plans for you.  He will take care of your situation and will make a better life for you and your family. Indeed, in His timing, God will turn a bad situation around.  He is still in control.  Yes you are suffering today, but try not to allow the bitterness to weigh you down.  Have no fear  – God is with you!

God’s eyes are watching, so surely He will take care of you and supply your needs.  He sees the devastations the hurricane has caused.  Each day that we live is a gift, a privilege, let’s rejoice and be glad in it. God is faithful. So hold on. Be strong. God knows His divine plan, and He is with you every step of the way.  He is a good, just, righteous, and loving Father.

Dear Heavenly Father,

The devastation of this terrible storm left your children astray.  Fear is waiting to take us down. Thank you Father, because you know our pain and sorrow personally.  With heavy hearts we come to you. Please make yourself known to us, Lord. Take our hands and lead us through. We lay our fears at your feet. Your promise is that you — and you alone — will come to our help.

Thank you for the comfort we find in your presence. Give us your peace Lord; the peace that passes all understanding. We release our lives into your hands. We love you Lord.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
