Seek the Lord in prayer …

seekgodTimes get tough and life is not easy, but if you seek God, you can live every day with peace and reassurance. If things don’t turn out as expected, God will catch you and provide for you. There is peace knowing your Heavenly Father is looking out for you! Lean on God, shift your worries to Him and your day will be very different. It’s important to realize God has perfect timing, even when we can’t understand it. Without placing your faith in His timing, you leave room for resentment, despair, and pain. Seek your God! Believe in His promise that He will never leave you or forsake you. God is faithful; He does have our best interest in mind.

When something bad happens to you, and you have faith in God, your attitude changes. You begin to figure out why God wants you to go through tough times and what He wants you to learn from it. When you see that bad situation happened for a reason, you begin to trust God even more. Eventually, you want to allow Him into more areas of your life. When life’s problems begin to look too great to overcome, it’s easy to lose hope. One of our first reactions is to wonder, “why me?”. It’s easy to forget that troubles and difficulties can come to anyone, regardless of a person’s background, or level of success. When you can’t see the work God is doing, remain faithful in knowing His timing is perfect. God loves you and will never give up on you.

Seek the Lord in prayer! Keep your faith and make sure you leave ample room for God to be in the center of your life. He has a great purpose for you, and wants you to be happy. Today relinquish your sadness to God, even if it’s just for a moment and you will feel comforted.

God loves you!
