No matter how heavy your heart is, or how dark the moment may be, remain calm and quiet. Hurricane Sandy will slowly turn away. God loves you!! Do not doubt Him; trust and believe that He has great plans for you. He will take care of your situation and will make a better life for you and your family. Indeed, in His timing, God will turn a bad situation around. He is still in control. Yes you are suffering today, but try not to allow the bitterness to weigh you down. Have no fear – God is with you!
God’s eyes are watching, so surely He will take care of you and supply your needs. He sees the devastations the hurricane has caused. He is a good, just, righteous, and loving Father.
Dear Heavenly Father,
The devastation of this terrible storm left your children astray. Fear is waiting to take us down. Thank you Father, because you know our pain and sorrow personally. With heavy hearts we come to you. Please make yourself known to us, Lord. Take our hands and lead us through. We lay our fears at your feet. Your promise is that you — and you alone — will come to our help.
Thank you for the comfort we find in your presence. Give us your peace Lord; the peace that passes all understanding. We release our lives into your hands. We love you Lord.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
