Change

Change is hard—so hard, in fact, that most of us avoid it at all costs. But by avoiding it, we create even bigger problems, such as lost opportunities, broken relationships, feeling as if traveling a dead end street. Change means stepping into the unknown and losing your comfortable routine, and that’s frightening.

All things in this world are subject to change, it is an inseparable part of life. Some changes bring progress while some do not but there is nothing that can stop the process of changing. Change is inevitable, and should be welcomed and not despised.  Everything changes and you just can’t avoid it.  People handle changes differently; some people do not do well with new ideas while others seem to adjust more easily with change.

Change is stressful and being flexible is especially important.  The way you choose to manage change may determine how much stress you experience. You need to be able to change and adapt as needed.  It is normal to experience fear and panic but you need to figure it out and spend time reflecting on the changes that are taking place in your life.  Focus on the positive and not dwelling on the negatives aspects. Consider change as an opportunity.  Take control of the changes in your life so you can take advantage of the new exciting possibilities available.

Change is difficult and requires a certain amount of faith. Remember, we cannot do it alone. God is in control and he will lead you!
