Worrying causes all kinds of stresses, depression, fights, arguments, nasty attitudes, sicknesses, and diseases. In addition, people have heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, diabetes, and commit all sorts of crimes, and suicide when they worry and think there is no hope. Worrying causes fears and will shorten your life. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but He has given us His Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.
We need to be in control of our thoughts and how we allow life trials and problems to affect us. After you have done all you can do, leave the rest to God and keep your faith believing and trusting in His Word. Stand in your prayers and faith… be encouraged to know that God will provide a road in your wilderness and bring you out of whatever it is that you are going through. Stop your worrying!
Worry is like a rocking chair—it gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere. Don’t worry, be happy. Life is full of blessings and sometimes we are too blind to see them. Hey, we are alive and breathing so count your blessings and stop worrying. Worrying is a waste of time and energy. Don’t sweat the small stuff, God is alive and He will provide.
