Seek the Lord in prayer …

seekgodTimes get tough and life is not easy, but if you seek God, you can live every day with peace and reassurance. If things don’t turn out as expected, God will catch you and provide for you. There is peace knowing your Heavenly Father is looking out for you! Lean on God, shift your worries to Him and your day will be very different. It’s important to realize God has perfect timing, even when we can’t understand it. Without placing your faith in His timing, you leave room for resentment, despair, and pain. Seek your God! Believe in His promise that He will never leave you or forsake you. God is faithful; He does have our best interest in mind.

When something bad happens to you, and you have faith in God, your attitude changes. You begin to figure out why God wants you to go through tough times and what He wants you to learn from it. When you see that bad situation happened for a reason, you begin to trust God even more. Eventually, you want to allow Him into more areas of your life. When life’s problems begin to look too great to overcome, it’s easy to lose hope. One of our first reactions is to wonder, “why me?”. It’s easy to forget that troubles and difficulties can come to anyone, regardless of a person’s background, or level of success. When you can’t see the work God is doing, remain faithful in knowing His timing is perfect. God loves you and will never give up on you.

Seek the Lord in prayer! Keep your faith and make sure you leave ample room for God to be in the center of your life. He has a great purpose for you, and wants you to be happy. Today relinquish your sadness to God, even if it’s just for a moment and you will feel comforted.

God loves you!

You are not alone!

If you put faith in God, you can live every day with peace and reassurance.  Putting your faith in God means you believe He will work for your good.  If things don’t turn out as expected, He will catch you and provide for you.  There is peace knowing your Heavenly Father is looking out for you.  If you see a tough day ahead of you tomorrow, just lean on God and shift your worries to Him and your day will be very different.

God knows you, personally and intimately.  He also has a great purpose for you, and wants you to be happy. Seek your God. Go forward knowing victory is yours. God loves you!!

You will gain more strength over time and have a more successful and peaceful life.  Believe in God’s promise that He will never leave you or forsake you.  God is still faithful. God does have our best interest in mind.  If you truly want guidance and and directions, it’s important to follow God and love Him with all heart.

If you’re in the wrong track,  you have to wake up one day and want something better for your life now.  Remember that your appearance and your past has nothing to do with who you are as a person-it’s about learning from your mistakes and growing as an individual.

Fear not!

Fear3Fear leads to worry and obsession.  It causes us to overreact or become paralyzed.  When you feel the anxiety rising up in your throat, fear not.  Do not let fear reign over you, for the Lord is with you. God tells us not to worry because He knows our needs! Our Lord Jesus Christ will show us His love and mercy.  God is one person I know that no matter what I can rely on Him.

When the fear begins to rise up, conquer it!  The Lord is more powerful than fear. Seek Him, He will provide peace, comfort, and understanding.  There is no need to fear because in the midst of troubles, God promises to be our strength. Lean on your good God during hard times, and run the race of life with confidence!

Today, consider what it means to have a relationship with God.  Some days we need just a bit more grace and a bit more peace. By the end of the day, it feels like we are just barely hanging on. When you feel your patience wearing thin, turn to God; He will give you the grace and patience you are seeking for. God is your Creator and He knows how to protect you, if you will allow Him.

Praying is a way to defeat fear. Prayer has a way of filling you up with energy, restoring, and recharging.  It’s very important if we take time to pray to the Father and restore ourselves.  If you are able, take today to draw away, in order to draw close to the Lord.  If today isn’t possible, plan a day this week to do this. Pray! Pray!!

My friends, fear is not from God.  God wants us to be strong and courageous.  He wants us to have faith in Him.  Trust and believe!!

Me: God, can I ask You a question?

God: Sure

Me: Promise You won’t get mad … … … …

God: I promise

Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do u mean?

Me: Well, I woke up late

God: Yes

Me: My car took forever to start

God: Okay

Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait

God: Huummm

Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call

God: All right

Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn’t work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?

God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one
of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Me (humbled): OH

GOD: I didn’t let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me: (ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn’t want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn’t afford to miss work.

Me (embarrassed):Okay

God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn’t even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I’m Sorry God

God: Don’t be sorry, just learn to Trust Me…. in All things , the Good & the bad.

Me: I will trust You.

God: And don’t doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.

Me: I won’t God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God: You’re welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children…

Thank you God for loving me.  Believe in Him!!!

He is Risen

Christ is risen from the dead, Alleluia!!

easterToday we celebrate the greatest moment in humankind’s history, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.  Today is a day where everything is new!!  It is a time for beginnings, fresh starts and hopeful things.

Easter is a day of remembrance, renew, rebirth, revive, repair, refresh, restore and rejuvenate.  Today is a day of hope and a new start with God.  Our sins have been paid in full; we have a fresh start in life.  Our past sins are no longer important.  Hope is alive!! Our God is alive!!  He is not dead!! Hallelujah!!

You and I should remember that on this Easter day there is hope for those who are lost; peace for those who are troubled; joy for those who mourn, for your sorrow is just for a moment.

Because of Jesus’ saving death and resurrection, we longer fear death.  This amazing victory over death should affect every aspect of our lives.  First of all, we know that the rewards of this earth are not our ultimate goal.  Our ultimate goal is a personal relationship with God – we should live our lives knowing that the most valuable things are those which bring us closer to our goal.

Easter reminds me that nothing can crush or defeat me, because Christ’s grace is more powerful than all evil.  God loves me – He took my sins to His cross!! All my sins are erased!!  He died for me.  I am blessed and highly favored.

Friends, because of His death, He paid the price for our sins and by believing in Him we can have eternal life.  How has Christ’s resurrection impacted your life?

Thank you Jesus! You are the light and your love has changed the world.  By your grace and mercy we are save and all our sins are forgiven.  The best days are ahead! You are the truth, love and eternal life!!  Amen!!

Happy Easter.  May the joy of today be yours.
